A Real Clear Politics report - MSNBC's Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist react to NBC's decision not to air their show on Monday, seeming to take it personally that they would be replaced by the network staying in "breaking news mode" following the assassination attempt on former President Trump. "We were very surprised. We were very disappointed," Scarborough said. "We all wish we had been here yesterday. We still want to figure out exactly why there wasn't that one news feed."

 

"Let me just say, next time we're told there is going to be a news feed replacing us, we will be in our chairs," he said. "The news feed will be us, or they can get somebody else to host the show."
