Listening to this last night while I was making dinner, I realized how appropriate it was to the times it came out in as well as these days.

We all think of Disney World and Disney Land both as the places that may not have invented 'WOKE' but have certainly taken it all to a new, strange level. Disney hasn't been in the news much lately, but they keep the ball rolling down the WOKE hill no matter what. In this latest incidence, the company that Uncle Walt founded has removed a beloved character that has been a staple at the amusement park for over 50 years bcause the character was deemed “insensitive and outdated,” and could offend alcoholics - who evidently are very easily offended there in the park...
Liver Lips McGrowl, one of the 18 animatronic bears of the “Country Bear Jamboree” at Magic Kingdom, will not be making his grand return alongside the other robotic mammals when the attraction reopens on Wednesday after a seven-month hiatus.
McGrowl, whose name is considered derogatory and offensive, is associated with alcohol abuse and the resulting damage it does to the liver, Disney blog Inside the Magic said. The term is also seen as a derogatory and offensive stereotype used against black Americans to describe the shape of their lips as sickly or unhealthy.
And besides, it's not really offensive as much as it's just plain creepy.

will be forced to wear the Hijab after the overthrow of the Shah. This protest happened just days after the revolution in Iran in 1979. The Hijab rule is still in effect. Can you imagine living in a country like that? The do it all in the name of their religion, pretending that the rule comes from up high.
