This really does explain why Trump lost the last election. It had nothing to do with his policies - the vast majority of them were solid and delivered great results, stimulating the economy and bolstering our reputation as the leader of the free world. The problem was that societal pressures and dim-witted people allowed the facts to be buried by bullshit, and people voted with their heads up their own asses without concern for the good of the country.
