It comes as no surprise, of course. It's outsiders and idiots...

Of course they're outsiders - the students are too friggin' stupid to come up with this shit on their own. NPR reported yesterday that New York City officials are saying that nearly half of the 282 people arrested at pro-Palestinian protests on two campuses this past week are not currently affiliated with either school.
The arrest breakdown was released on Thursday by the New York City Police Department and Mayor Eric Adams following mounting pressure for Adams to reveal how many of those arrested at Columbia University and The City College of New York were students after his repeated claims that "outside agitators" guided the protests that led to the arrests.
City officials said 29% of the 112 people arrested at a protest at Columbia on Tuesday were not affiliated with the school. At the City College protest, 60% of the 170 arrested were not affiliated with the school.

If any one of these kids is your son or grandson,
thank you for raising them right. And I don't mean
that politically. Think 'correctly'...

I remember my Mom having 'Tupperware parties' back in the late 50's/early 60's. She'd invite 15 or so of her girlfriends to the house and the 'Tupperware lady' would demonstrate all the different shit and take orders. I think my mother got to keep some of the samples the lady brought with her. Different times, my friends...

Every year when the nominees are announced I am somehow disappointed by the people they put in this joint. The RRHOF has absolutely no credibility and very little to do with rock & roll. It's blatantly obvious the whole place is a sham. Mary K. Fuckin' Blige? She's fit right in with ABBA who'se already there. Enough with this bullshit. IF I was any of the guys from Grand Funk, I wouldn't accept the nomination either.
...

Yeah - ABBA is in it but he isn't.
Makes perfect sense, don't it...

Officials estimate it could cost about $35 billion to finish the first line from Bakersfield to Merced and roughly $100 billion more to complete the route from Los Angeles to San Francisco — about $100 billion more than what was originally proposed years ago.

  2. I've been to my share of rock concerts and Johnny Winter was by far the loudest I've ever heard.

  3. One of the biggest names NOT in the R&R HOF - Joe Cocker. Until then, it's an invalid HOF.

  4. Regarding CalHighSpeedRail, in Florida Brightline completed a 3 year upgrade of Florida East Coast's line from Miami to Cocoa, double and in some places triple tracking where single track only existed. And then built a single track on a double track roadbed from Cocoa to Orlando and built and refurbishment facilities next to the Orlando airport and a huge station to mesh with said Orlando Airport. Speeds on the Orlando to Cocoa track can get up to 130mph while from Miami to Cocoa, since it's shared with freight trains and goes through lots of places is restricted to around 70mph.

And construction came in under budget.

This was done by Brightline (a private rail company) with the FEC's (a private rail company) help and cooperation.

Tell me again how good California is.
