Bono died on January 5, 1998, of injuries incurred when
he hit a tree while skiing at Heavenly Mountain Resort
in South Lake Tahoe, California. At Mary's (his wife
at the time) request, Cher gave a eulogy at Sonny's funeral.
He was buried at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.
And pray tell how this little bit of useless history is going to affect my (or anyone else's) life???
