Because New York City isn't fucked up enough already, this is a brilliant idea...

This is almost too much to believe that these are elected officials trying to circumvent common sense. WTF would would they want to do this? It's easy - they need to stay in power and see this as the only way that will happen if the rest of the normal people there get hip to just how fucked in the head these Demorats really are.
The New York City Council asked the state’s highest court to strike down a pair of rulings in a move that would pave the way for noncitizen immigrants to vote in city elections.
The controversial election change, passed by the City Council in late 2021 and signed into law by then-Mayor Bill de Blasio, would have allowed 800,000 noncitizens with green cards or legal authoritiation to vote but was struck down as unconstitutional last month by an appellate court.

    NYC is crazy. I'm not even from the US but in my country you can only vote if you're a citizen, not even permanent resident status gets to vote.

    This^^^ The whole point of importing all these illegals was to get the vote, or as the meme goes, "If illegals voted Republican, the border wall would go up today."
