Tesla is recalling over 2 million vehicles in the United States due to the incorrect font size appearing on warning lights. The affected models include certain model years of the Model S, Model X, Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an incorrect font size is displayed on the instrument panel for the Brake, Park and Antilock Brake System (ABS) warning lights.
"Warning lights with a smaller font size can make critical safety information on the instrument panel difficult to read, increasing the risk of a crash," the NHTSA said in the recall notice.

Calling this Recall is bull. This is a screen driven by software not a light behind a stencil. Telsa will probably push a software update to change the font size and call it good.
ReplyDeleteWould someone please release the boomers from NHTSA because we don't get font size regs from those with proper vision and or a modicum of common sense.
