Do you live in a 'state of sin' or just a 'sinful state'? There IS a difference...

According to this report, “Nevada ranks as the most sinful state in America, which probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise given that one of its most famous cities, Las Vegas, is nicknamed ‘Sin City,’” WalletHub wrote in its report, which was released Tuesday.
“One of the obvious deadly sins in Nevada is greed, given that it leads the nation in casinos, and it also has one of the largest gambling arrests per capita,” the study continued.
Nevada - which is hosting the Super Bowl on Sunday - was also dinged for having the second-lowest volunteer rate in the US and an unusually high percentage of internet trolls.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Alex Wagner, Hillary Clinton reacted to Tucker Carlson’s recent announcement that he had secured an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling the former Fox News pundit a “useful idiot”

That's okay though, cause it pretty much all sucks anyway...

You need to have a lot of perspective
looking back on stuff like this...

Werner von Braun (the former Nazi) designer of the Saturn V rocket, poses in front of its engines, which led man to the moon. Saturn V was a powerful and iconic rocket used by NASA during the Apollo and Skylab programs.
At over 363 feet tall, it was - at least until April 2023 - the tallest, heaviest and most powerful rocket ever built.
Developed in the 1960s, Saturn V played a crucial role in launching astronauts to the Moon, including the historic Apollo 11 mission in 1969. The three stages and impressive impulse abilities made it a symbol of human success in space exploration.
Think about the process involved here. First ya gotta do the math - the calculations that prove you can do what you want to do. Then you have to design it and build it. Every single part, because nothing included in this design would have come off the shelf. It really was impressive.

This is actually I think the very first thing these green jerkoffs have come up with in the last century that actually make a lot of sense. If you don't know what a heat pump is, it's basically your whole-house air conditioner working backwards. I know I'm over-simplifying the process, but that is the jist of it. After house-hunting in the Naples area around ten years ago, we came to realize there are only basically two kinds of houses in Naples - the ones you can't afford, and the ones you don't want to live in. Plus the traffic congestion there is about as bad and maybe worse than anywhere outside of Tokyo, if ya get my drift. It can take you an hour to go out to gas up the car. Fuck that.

  1. Pioneers Pizza near us in Port Charlotte sells slices. Jersey guy makes pretty darn good pie.

  2. Heat pumps do not function well where temperatures get quite cold. So they make no sense in the far northern states. They can, of course, be run in reverse and used to air condition in warm months. So again, more useful in warmer climes.

This is the classic problem with government trying to institute a generic policy for everyone. The policy makers are technical ignoramuses and don't understand the operational limitations. So are most of the advocacy groups.

  3. If Tucker is a "useful idiot" for interviewing Putin, what does that make Hillary for selling Putin uranium to make nukes ???

  4. Costco pizza is actually quite good - probably the closest chain in Florida to New York pizza.
You can get a giant slice for $1.99 or a whole 18" pizza for $9.99.
Cheese or pepperoni, dine in or take out.

    1. Sam's Club aint bad either....and there's a little Italian Restaurant in Largo called The Country Inn that makes some of the best pizza on the planet, at least, according to my friends from New York....most yankees won't like it because they cut it in squares to make it easier to eat as if that affected the taste....an aside here....they are from upstate, not the city, so they most likely miss out on all the crap from the environment that goes into NY City pizza, like rat shit and things like that which, I'm sure, add to the flavor ...
