According to this report, using cannabis could lead to a 'significant' increase in heart attack and stroke risk, even if people consume edibles. Researchers in Massachusetts and California spent four years evaluating more than 400,000 US adults in 27 states to examine the link between cannabis use and issues like heart disease and stroke.
The team found that any type of cannabis use - smoking, vaping, or edibles - was 'associated with a higher number of adverse cardiovascular outcomes.
