And he is the 'Leader of the free world'...

...

...

It comes at you on a daily basis - the bad news and doom-and-gloom
reporting that specifically designed to try and scare the crap out of you, but why? Why do we need to know this shit? Here's a perfect example of why there are entirely too many 'reporters' out there:

This is the Gweebarra Bridge in Lettermacaward, County Donegal, Ireland. The bridge is known locally as the 'Gateway to the Rosses'.  It crosses the Gweebarra River and connects the townlands of Lettermacaward and Doochary. The bridge is situated on the N56 road, which is a major route in the area and is about a half-mile from my brothers cottage just above the river.
The Gweebarra River itself is 32km long from it's source above Lough Barra to Gweebarra Bay and is tidal from Doochary Bridge to Gweebarra Bay.  The Gweebarra Bridge is a popular spot for anglers and is known for its scenic views of the surrounding countryside.

Today's internet is just for trolls I guess.

This now-viral video is strictly a rumor, and Cinderella Castle is still standing at Magic Kingdom. The TikTok video comes from a fake Disney news account, Mouse Trap News, and while it does show smoke coming from the landmark and the surrounding areas, it is from the daytime fireworks that are part of the stage show. The flames were added via Photoshop to add to the storyline.
This is a classic example of how easily you can be duped by shit you see here online. Of course, accept for here, 'cause - ya know - guys from Jersey wouldn't bullshitja, now would they. Juss' sayin'...

Speaking of fooling the eye...

This is an oil painting by the artist Cheryl Kelley entitled 'Chevy in the Park'  that was completed in 2016. It's Oil on aluminum panel and is fairly sizable, coming in at 60" × 72". That's pretty friggin' amazing, isn't it? I wonder what it sold for. Here's her website: https://www.cherylkelley.com/

They say the reason he was so good in these movies is because he
evidently didn't have much of a sense of humor and didn't get any of the jokes, allowing him to deliver his lines with dead-pan accuracy.
...

Join a religion they said. You'll get to wear real spiffy clothes and
hang out with the guys all the time they said. This is not what God does to people. This is what people do to other people when they tell them what to wear and how to act when they praise the god that brought them in to the world naked. Doesn't make much sense, does it?

Shoulda bought it when I had the chance. WTF was I thinking
not plunking down $ 7.50 for this shot glass?

  1. In an interview soon after the results were announced, Haley said, "I will continue in this to assure the complete drain of resources from the RNC and to serve as a distraction for the democrat party. I will continue as long as the democrat party wants me to."

  2. I was at my grandma's in 1963 in Pennsylvania, they had a coal shoot going to the basement, it was summer so I don't know if they still used coal but there wasn't any in the basement.

  4. Yep, looking for a coal/wood fired furnace, two actually, one for the basement and one for the shop. Winter ain't too horrible here, but it's cold enough to have good back ups; gas inserts are nice to see, but they don't warm the house. And yes, the solar panel fields nearby are increasing in number and size, but we've still a few coal fired power plants nearby because the former ain't cutting it. That and the local electricity provider installed controlling meters, monitored daily, and I don't trust them to leave the power on, coal or solar.
