The way uberlibs tell things, Trump thinks he's a god-like, re-born Stalin, hell bent on conquering the earth in his own name. The Milwaukee Independent went so far as to say " Donald Trump has built a cult around himself. This is dangerous to America and dangerous to democracy. Cults of personality in governance are broadly incompatible with democracy. They usually erupt in dictatorships where the Great Leader’s face and sayings are splashed all over public places. Think Mao’s China, Stalin’s USSR, Hitler’s Germany, Kim’s North Korea."
The thing we have to worry about is the fact that so many people buy in to this bullshit. It's NOT a 'cult of personality' as they'll have you believe. It's good, honest, hard-working Americans who support him because they know his policies are solidly in the best interest of the country.

Isn't that the truth. It was 54 years ago my older teenage sister bought me my first ever album, Grand Funk Railroad Survival, and said to me, Here's some real music to listen to, time to grow up. I still have that album, now unplayable due to scratches but I've never been able to part with it. Played it a million times.

ReplyDeleteIf yer gonna talk about "cults'" then you gotta remember the religion like adoration that the Left gave to Barack Hussein Obama (also know as "Barry") and how the feted him. He got a Nobel Prize before ever did anything, he was adulated for essentially doing nothing except being black and "not sounding like a dumb nigger" (those were the words of Al Sharpton, BTW). THAT was a cult. People couldn't explain why the wanted him as resident...but they did. Sharpton even called him "Barack the Magic Negro". 'Cause he made white Liberals believe in black people.
