According to yet another meaningless, bullshit poll, Vegas sucks. Guess these people never been to Calcutta - or the Windy City on a weekend. According to these yahoos, Las Vegas is a grim, ersatz, environmentally unsustainable totem to capitalism – with a rising homelessness problem that sits alongside its extreme wealth. The Which? panel gave it two stars out of five in most categories, and just one out of five for cultural sights, crowds and cost. The article is here, and the claims are stupid:

ReplyDeleteI visited Vegas in 1981 and thought it was great. Wife at the time didn't like that a hooker tried to entice me while she was right next to me although she had nothing to fear. Wife had in fact shagged the Trek America tour van driver (well scored Kerry C) a few days earlier at Comanche Lake but I only connected that dot, and others, after we divorced several years later. Loved the US as it was then - good times despite the wife being a tramp.
