Why does DeNiro think we give a shit what he thinks?

TheGuardian.com - De Niro came to the stage as part of the Gotham historical icon and creator tribute for the Martin Scorsese-directed Killers of the Flower Moon, and after reading out some remarks about the film, said that the first part of his speech had been removed from the prompter.
He then read the missing section of the speech from his phone, saying: “History isn’t history any more. Truth is not truth. Even facts are being replaced by alternative facts and driven by conspiracy theories and ugliness. In Florida, young students are taught that slaves developed skills which can be applied for their personal benefit. The entertainment industry isn’t immune to this festering disease."
Maybe, Bob,  we know in our hearts  these two things - you are wrong and hateful and have no clue what the fuck you're talking about, and we really don't give a flying rat's-ass fuck what you think. Juss' sayin'...

  5. any alleged liberal who uses a gun in a movie shows himself for the hypocrite he is.

do you know of any liberal actor who turns down movie roles because there is violence, gun use or racism in the movie?

  7. Someone should ask him if he thinks the slaves were all too dumb to develop any skills that could be used for their personal benefit once slavery was over
