These old Florida Guys get pissed off real easy...

Maybe he was just having a bad year...

A Florida man has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery after allegedly driving his car into staff at The Villages 'Cruise In' car show in Florida on purpose over the weekend.
At the event, which ran on Saturday November 18, Anthony Guerra became “belligerent” and aggressive towards staff after being refused entry, reports local outlet ABC 15 News. The Villages resident then began throwing paper at event staff, before “purposely and maliciously” reversing his car into a worker at the show.
According to the arrest report, the victim said he told Anthony Guerra “that he would need to leave the car show due to the aggressive behavior. “The victim stated the defendant threw a paper out of his car, towards another staff member, then proceeded to look at the victim and reverse his car into him.”
Guerra reportedly arrived at the car show with a group of friends but became irate when staff let another group of cars into the event before his. He then began revving his car, before “several witnesses said the defendant purposely ran the victim over due to being kicked out of the car show.”
Guerra was arrested on the scene, but reports claim that he began shaking uncontrollably after police took him into custody. He was transferred to hospital for checks before being booked into jail where he was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was released on Sunday on a bond of $5,000.

  1. That drummer has one of the great all time rock and roll names: Liberty Devitto. Sat third row in 1978 at the Billy Joel concert at the Omaha Civic Auditorium and my date and I each went home with four pieces of drum stick that he broke and they flew into our seats. He probably broke twenty sticks during the show.
