The New York Post is reporting today that Mayor Eric Adams has
blamed the rise in prostitution in Corona, Queens on an influx of female Venezuelan migrants who are struggling to find other work. The Democrat said Tuesday that “illegal” activity is taking place in the area and said it is just “one example” of how the nation’s migrant crisis is affecting the city. It is unclear whether these Venezuelan migrants are being sex trafficked to perform these acts or if they are soliciting sex on their own free will.
Later on in the press briefing, a reporter recorded Adams'
frustration with all of the illegals being dumped in his city:

ReplyDeleteUsed to deliver liquid oxygen to hospitals in NYC. Most of the time you could only get to the tanks was the middle of the night. Coming down off the Manhattan Bridge and going to the right to pick up 1st Ave, every time you stopped at a traffic light, hookers would climb all over your tractor. There always used to be girls around a flaming barrel off of Flushing Ave. up the street from the Brooklyn Navy Yard, rain or snow, no matter the time of the year. Up by Hunt's Point, they'd walk around almost naked.
