I have a theory about the music that we consider our favorites - the music that brings back the most memories...
I know that my musical tastes now are 180 degrees from where I was 55 years ago, but that's a discussion for a different day. I'm talking about memories and familiarity here.
I fall asleep to music on the TV every night - I prefer the 60's channel to the rest for the simple reason that I know all of the shit they're gonna play. There's nothing new and different that I might wanna concentrate on - I can drift away to music that reminds me of the girl I dated in 8th grade - that kinda stuff. Chime in on your ideas on this. PS - I never owned a Beatles or a Stones album and I ain't gonna start now...

The dream is over for passengers who'd signed up for Life at Sea Cruises' inaugural three-year voyage. Life at Sea Cruises had promised passengers of its inaugural three-year voyage the trip of a lifetime — they were supposed to set sail on Nov. 30, travelling to 382 ports across 140 countries over the span of three years.

Lower fees would be good news for home sellers and buyers, but what does the ruling mean for the NAR's 1.6 million members? Among them are single moms, veterans and aspiring young professionals. One report estimates as many as 80 percent now stand to lose their jobs.
