Better idea would be to stop the Biden imposed income tax on SS payments.

DeleteThe SSI increase is, by law, tied to the official government inflation number. Which is why the official government inflation number is soooo low this year. Last year's increase freaked out those in power as to how much 'they' had to pay out.

No bone here, My wife called her pension about 7-8 months ago. she was told she has 164,000 to receive. she is retiring nov 1. she called yesterday uncle sam took 42,000 from it for interest(as the woman put it) 25%. don't do me any favors with a bump in ssi.
ReplyDeleteThe LEFT bothers because they know that most less-than-mental-giants will only see their SS check increase. They will not pay attention to daily cost increases.

ReplyDeleteAfter congress and senate gave themselves a 40% pay raise, there just was not any money left to give any higher increase than 3.2 per cent.
