  1. I worked my way through college in the mid 70s. My wife's parents paid for her. My sons paid for their Trade Schools in the early 2000s. No tax payer should be paying for some other person's loans. The problem with college is once the Federal Government took over loans college costs skyrocketed and many more stupid degrees were offered so the colleges could make money.

  2. I think it really doesn't matter to them in the long run as they seem to be planning to crash the dollar.
the debit is what 33 trillion ? unreal. unthinkable too for most people. and they have no plan on paying it back.
just print more when they need it. kind of sad in a way, I figured out that some stuff was worth more than money
and just decided to get stuff I may need or want. funny, I started working with a concrete crew for 5 bucks a day
back when I was a kid. but then again, a new pair of Levi's where 6-7 bucks. made here.
as others much smarter than me have pointed out, it not that the price of everything has gone up as much as the dollar losing it's value. remember back when gold was under 800 per OZ. ? I do. dave in pa.

  4. It's simple: you take out a loan for a certain amount of $$$$$, sign a form that states you will pay it back with interest over a period of time & there is nothing in that paper you sign about not paying it back, loan forgiveness is not an option no matter if a sitting president states its true and the supreme court rules that sitting president cannot do such actions. Pay back your loan and you will save hugely on interest charges.
