Five US prisoners detained in Iran, some for nearly a decade, have left the country by plane to Qatar, as part of a controversial prisoner swap involving the unfreezing by the Biden administration of $6,000,000,000.00 of Iranian oil money.
Tehran and Washington had agreed to swap five prisoners each, including the conservationist Morad Tahbaz, a British-American citizen.
I have to believe that nothing he does makes sense any more. Why the fuck would he want to put that much money in these camel jockey's hands? I just don't get it - maybe you can figure it out. Read the article:
(Just a side note - even though The Guardian is a very left-leaning media outlet, some of their reporting is a lot more concise than most stateside media sources. That's why I include them ocassionaly.)

ReplyDeleteOne of the first lessons I learned as a blogger was that if you want in depth reporting on an American news story, you go to the English news sites. They understand that digital "ink" is free, and write big long articles, often well investigated, with tons of pictures. Ok, it's often left skewed, but it's still much more info than the 1 short poorly written paragraph you get from our news idiots.
