If you're gonna steal, steal something worth stealing...

Robin Swanger was charged with one count of felony theft after he took a full 8-foot by 10-foot porch from his neighbor’s property in Arnco, Georgia, a small town about 40 miles outside of Atlanta. The house was no longer on the property, but the owner said Swanger would have had to travel past several “no trespassing” signs to reach the porch.
“It’s a full-size 8×10 porch. It would be what goes onto a house for entrance and exit,” Coweta County Sheriff’s Office investigator Chris Stapler told FOX 5 Atlanta. “Very well-constructed.” Stapler said the porch was constructed with “top-of-the-line lumber” and was valued at approximately $3,000.
The owner said that despite appearances, the property was not abandoned, and nothing was available to be taken.

  1. It's ok if you don't get caught ... I've been watching the news!

  2. top-of-the-line lumber, Hahahaha that stuff is as warped as my humor. Several years ago Lowe's had kits already bundled up for do it yourself decks. Very little cutting & simple instructions. 8x10 was $800 , delivered. That looks just like the one in my backyard.
