Trump a 'no-show' for the Georgia indictment booking?

It has always been the case that cash bail was used as a device - an incentive - for people charged with crimes to either show up when they're told to, or to prevent them from skipping town and disappearing.
Seeing how neither of those things could possibly apply to the most famous (or imfamous depending on how you lean) person in this country - and maybe the whole world - today, setting cash bail for him is a fool's effort. It really does show you how childish, hateful and malicious these liberal jerkoffs really are.
According to the Old Grey Lady (the NY Slimes), under his bail 'agreement' in Georgia,  Trump cannot communicate with any co-defendants in the case except through his lawyers
He was also directed to “make no direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community,” including “posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another individual.”
The terms were more extensive than those set for other defendants in the case so far, which did not specifically mention social media. In the past, Mr. Trump has made what people who hate him say are 'inflammatory and sometimes false' personal attacks on Fani T. Willis, the district attorney of Fulton County, who is leading the case.

The tropics are starting to heat up.

Two tropical waves are marching across the Atlantic and one has popped up in the Gulf of Mexico. The National Hurricane Center is watching two tropical waves just off the coast of Africa, near Cape Verde. Both systems have a 60% chance of development over the next seven days. Forecasters believe both systems could form into tropical depressions over the next few days.

Ya know, it intrigues me that the number of page views that we get here - about 9,000 +/- per day - is a great number and all, but it's remained somewhat stagnant now for the better part of a year.
The numbers ebb and flow, fluncuating within a 1,000 or so of that daily range depending on the day of the week, Saturdays and Sundays usually being somewhat lighter 'traffic'.
I wonder if I/we have reached critical mass. Certainly three million page views a year is nothing to sneeze at, but I'd love to see the numbers grow a little. Maybe you could start turning your friends on to the Blog if you get a chance. Juss' sayin'...

There was a street corner about a block away from the High School I went to in Newark that looked almost exactly like this. Tell me you didn't do stupid shit like this when you were a kid. I'll wait here.

And now for some local news:

As you may well imagine, these fine young gentlemen are not
residents of The Villages - America's 'Friendliest Home Town'. They are, in fact, interlopers here to prey on the poor, innocent ole' folks like me, but they keep forgetting damn near everyone here who's 'like me' is strapped most of the time when we venture out. It rarely ends well for these miscreants. Wouldn't it be nice if you had that same liberty? Juss' sayin'

Japan said on Tuesday it will start releasing into the sea more than 1 million metric tonnes of treated radioactive water from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant on Aug. 24, going ahead with a plan heavily criticised by China. What could possibly go wrong here?

PS: One million metric tons is the same as one Billion kilograms or roughly 300,000,000 gallons. No small amount.

  3. Now add some actual information. HOW radioactive? From WHAT (hydrogen? cobalt? - really makes a huge difference). Treated kinda suggests that most of the contaminants have been removed. Now compare the natural level of ocean water radioactivity to that after the release- can one even detect the difference? (Bet not, but not enough info here to even guess). Mass of the oceans is 1.4 x 10 ^ 21 kg, more or less. 1 tonne is 1000 kg. So the dilution factor here is around 10 ^ 15.....

  4. The locks on the lamb reflect how much prices have risen here in the UK. By way of comparison we found most things cheaper when we were in Cape Coral in June, expect for bacon.
