A nine-man crew of the 'usual suspects' swarmed a Macy's beauty department during the smash and grab - as exasperated shoppers - some taking video- stood by as the the thieves fledThe robbery took place on Thursday afternoon around 12:30pm at Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks at 14000 Riverside Drive located in Los Angeles county.
Video shows the mob of masked bandits dressed in hooded sweatshirts and dark clothing grabbing loads of items - perfumes and colognes - from the beauty counters and stuffing the stolen merchandise into bags.

I wonder if the stores couldn't do something simple like a guard at each entrance enforcing a "no hoodies, no masks" policy. You could stop individuals that way: can't have no flash mob if there ain't no mob....
