USAtoday.com - Cleveland Guardians (What a stupid fuckin' name for a baseball team) third baseman Jose Ramirez and Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson were ejected from Saturday's game after exchanging punches during the bottom of the sixth inning. That led to a brawl in which both managers were also ejected.
Ramirez had slid safely into second on a double, beating Anderson's tag. While on the ground, Ramirez began arguing with Anderson and then pointed at him as he stood up.
Anderson threw down his glove, just like a hockey player before a fight, and put up his fists. The two took swings at each other and Ramirez knocked down Anderson with a right to the face.
"I felt like I was able to land one," Ramirez said after the game.
Usual suspects.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me? Why does it almost always seem like African Americans are in the middle of many, if not most, brawls?
ReplyDeleteThe team name used to be "Cleveland Indians", but that was too demeaning, or something. So they hijacked the name "The Guardians" from a local roller derby team (no shit look it up)!

Grow up you over paid juveniles. Geez, it’s baseball, not hockey.
ReplyDeleteHockey is graceful. Baseball is retarded.
DeleteBest contact since Nolan Ryan and Robin Ventura....LOLOLOL.....that boy hit the ground like a stone....unusual for baseball.....usually everybody just jumps around and poses...
ReplyDeleteI don't know why any fan would use the new name. Just continue to call them the Indians.
