What kinda chicken shit outfit is this, anyways?

I do believe that is an indirect quote from
one of my Sergeants in the Army...

I have so many questions about this whole scenario, I almost don't know where to start. It seems this truck flipped over on a ramp to Interstate 85 in Gaston County, North Carolina, spilling a load of chicken waste and shutting the ramp down. It flipped on the ramp from Highway 321 to I-85.
County officials told Channel 9 the truck was carrying powdered chicken poop. The mud-like substance spilled across the roadway and into the creek below the ramp. Several emergency crews responded to the scene.

Don't get me wrong here, guys. I'm about as big an Eagles fan as the next guy, but fuck, dude, hell froze over 15 years ago.
This seems to me like nothing more than a last-gasp fuckin' money grab. Can you imagine how much even the shittiest of seats will cost? Tour starts in September at MSG. Yeah, I'll pass.

This is the first New Yorker Magazine cartoon that I've seen in the last
year that I actually got. I'm so old, though, that I can remember back to when
most - if not all - of them were both funny and poignant.

Gaphics like this - ones that look like a third-grader put them together on an old Commodore laptop in the basement - are emblematic of what's wrong with the internet. There's too much information out there, and most of it doesn't tell ya a fuckin' thing...

Mark Zuckerberg’s “Twitter-killer” Threads has reached 70m sign-ups in less than 48 hours, as it more than doubled its growth from its first day on app stores.
The new microblogging platform was launched in 100 countries this week . It immediately accumulated significant numbers of users, hitting more than 30 million within its first 24 hours, apparently making it the fastest downloaded app ever. On Friday, however, Zuckerberg announced on his Threads account that the user total had more than doubled that figure.
“70 million sign ups on Threads as of this morning. Way beyond our expectations,” he wrote. Threads launched around the world at 7pm EST in the US on Wednesday.
The question that comes to mind right away with this is simply 'when do we reach an over-saturation point with this kinda nonsense? Anybody checked their MySpace page lately? How many more social media platforms does the world need? Asking for a friend...

Ben & Jerry’s has called on the US to give back “stolen Indigenous land” including Mount Rushmore - and now a Native American chief in Vermont said he’d like to talk about the land that’s under the ice cream maker’s headquarters.
On Friday, Don Stevens - chief of the Nulhegan Band of The Coosuk Abenaki Nation, one of four tribes descended from the Abenaki that are recognized in Vermont - said in an interview that he “looks forward to any kind of correspondence with the brand to see how they can better benefit Indigenous people.”

I gotta be honest here. Ole' Don don't look like any injun I've ever seen, if ya catch my drift.
