ReplyDeleteYou were close, but only one "n" in Funicello. Pronounced Ann-et Fyoon-i-chel-lo.
DeleteIt's certainly not Annette as she looked in the Mickey Mouse Club and Beach movies. It might be her after her nose job, which was pretty nearly the end of her leading roles. Or it could be Suzanne Pleshette.

ReplyDeleteI hate to burst your childhood fantasies, but Annette grew up and out of the Micky Mouse Club. She and Frankie Avalon starred in several Beach movies in the early 1960's. Then she had her nose shortened, and the roles became fewer and less important. The only later role I remember was a comedy about a family that won the lottery - every time! But the reason I remember that - or saw it at all - was that the VHS tape was marked down to something like $1 on clearance...
