How's that whole 'legalized weed' thing going for ya?

It's a cash and carry business, evidently. Mastercard has told financial institutions to stop allowing marijuana transactions on its debit cards, dealing a blow to an industry already on the fringes of the financial system in the United States.
Most banks in the country do not service cannabis companies as marijuana remains illegal at the federal level despite several states legalizing its medicinal and recreational use. The federal government considers cannabis sales illegal, so these purchases are not allowed on our systems, said a guy from the company.

The agreement was - Hunter would plead guilty to tax charges and admit a gun offence. The plea deal was likely to spare the younger Mr Biden prison time, but a judge on Wednesday said she could not "rubber stamp the agreement".
Well played, your Honor you...

Joe Rogan slammed critics of Country singer Jason Aldean's controversial song 'Try That in a Small Town,' claiming 'there are hundreds of rap songs that are infinitely worse'. On Wednesday's episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan sat down with author Gad Saad and discussed the outrage surrounding the song released by Aldean, 46, earlier this month. 'The level of outrage, now I'm not saying that that's the greatest song in the world's ever known, you know,' Rogan said. 'But the level of outrage coming from people that are upset about that song is so strange when there are hundreds of rap songs out there that are infinitely worse and also enjoyable,' he added. The song, which was released in May, has surged to the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with over 19 million views on YouTube.
It has faced criticism over the lyrical content and for interlacing clips of a BLM protest in the video, but that crticism came from a buncha panty-waisted lib jerkoffs like those cunts on The View, so nobody really gave a fuck. Juss' sayin'....

A naked woman in California got out of her car on one of the nation’s busiest bridges and began firing a gun Tuesday.
It happened during rush hour on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three members of a Colorado family died while attempting to live "off the grid" in the Rocky Mountains, family members and investigators say. On Tuesday a coroner ruled that they probably died from starvation or exposure during the cold winter. It appears that the group began camping last summer and died over the winter.
Rebecca Vance's stepsister Trevala Jara, told the Washington Post on Wednesday: "She didn't like the way the world was going, and she thought it would be better if her and her son and Christine were alone, away from everybody."
The group - including the sisters who were in their 40s - had no outdoor survival experience and had watched online videos to learn about how to survive in Colorado's rugged backcountry, Mrs Jara told US media. "You can't go on the internet and watch videos on how to live off the grid, and then actually do it, if you have no experience," Mrs Jara told the Colorado Springs Gazette.

Whenever you see a headline like this sit back, relax, and rest comfortably knowing that the guy or gal who wrote it thinks you're a fucking moron.
It's comforting to me to think that someday, somehow, I will run in to this individual in a saloon after I've had three or four beers...

  1. I went to a Catholic High School in the late 70s. Several of the priests wore colors other than black. Theirs were actually more pastel colors than these. But yes, Catholic priests are allowed to wear colors other than black. They were Carmelite priests as opposed to Franciscans or Jesuits.

  4. First the feds push to make weed cash only. The dispensaries are forced to hire armored cars for cash transport. The local LEOs then tip off the feds when a cash run is happenig. The feds call in the local LEOs to seize the trucks and cash since it's profit from a federal crime. The feds share the take with the local LEOs.

Welcome to the land of the free.
