Short of open-heart surgery or being out for dinner or cocktails,
my wife starts to physically shake if she can't watch Wheel of Fortune
at 7:30 every night.
I was out in the lanai this morning having a smoke and a cuppa cawfee when she came out - with tears in her eyes - to tell me this news.
I didn't mean to laugh out loud, but I'da surely choked to death trying to hold it in. Now she's pissed at me. Imagine that...
I remember I had the same reaction when my next door neighbor, a guy, came over sobbing to give me the news about Elvis passing away....I'm sorry, seeing a grown man crying over someone he never met seemed humorous to me....call me heartless, I guess....he never forgave me....
