The oldest member of the US Senate contracted encephalitis, a brain inflammation after a bout of shingles that left her unable to sit on key committees in the Senate.
Feinstein, who is 89 and should have retired 10 years ago, also developed Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which can cause facial paralysis. The encephalitis resolved itself, but she continues to deal with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. She returned to Washington on 10 May after nearly three months of absence.
It's rumored she can't even wipe her own ass anymore. Senator Lurch (D-Pennsylvania) has been assigned that task by the Ways and By All Means Committee.

Hunt Brothers Pizza is a franchise that sells to convenience stores. Basically puts their ovens in the stores and the store employees bake it and box it by the slice. You can also order a whole pizza. I’m surprised you haven’t seen them in Florida. It’s not half bad, especially if you custom order.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about a Hunt Bros. Pizza... I see them in a LOT of gas stations here in North TX... New to the area, but not sure how that is considered a chain of restaurants if they're just the gas station fast food option... OTOH, there are like 5 Sonics here in this small city...

DeletePeople always bring up New Coke" as an example of a major screw up. But seriously, Coke had been making the switch to HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) over the previous 4 years. No doubt sales were falling as HFCS Coke tastes worse than sugar Coke, and is far worse for your health. So the marketing person comes up with a plan called "New Coke," they pull all the old stuff (so nobodycan really do a taste comparison), and when it "fails" they bring back "Classic Coke" and sales go through the roof. Yeah, real failure.
ReplyDeleteHunt brothers pizza is in truck stops, convenience marts,, all over Ohio, and when I recently drove to Texas I saw them everywhere on the route.
