are known to intoxicate parrots, and it's called
the "Drunken Parrot Tree".
Schotia brachypetala, the weeping boer-bean, is a leguminous flowering tree in the family Fabaceae (bean family/pod-bearing family/legumes) and the subfamily Detarioideae. The woodland tree is native to Africa south of the Zambezi River, where it occurs at middle altitudes.
Same thing with the Pyracantha bush & Cedar Waxwings. They get wacked out & fly into windows, cars & each other. Flop around on the ground then pass out. I've seen 100+ on the ground & we would use bb guns to keep the cats away. Don't see big flocks of them anymore.
