Where ya gonna go when you stop working?

New York has been ranked as the least affordable state to retire in the United States according to a recent report by WalletHub. The report used three primary metrics: affordability, quality of life, and healthcare to compare all 50 states. New York ranked 10th in quality of life and 16th in healthcare but dead last in affordability due to the state's high adjusted cost of living and tax rates. Other northern states such as Maryland and Illinois also ranked poorly in affordability falling in the top ten, while California came 36th in affordability.
It is NOT a coincidence that all of these top ten most expensive places are ALL states run by Democrats. California did not make the list only because there are so many other places in Cali that are not LA or SanFran, and beside - they have a half-million people living in the streets where it cost nothing. Ask Woodsterman.

Former Chinese soldier, Li Guowu, was working as a security guard and was on patrol outside a residential building in Xian when he spotted a woman standing on the window ledge of the 11th floor. Positioning himself to catch her, the woman jumps and falls onto him, killing them both...

Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber announced a curfew on Sunday after two fatal shootings over the weekend on Ocean Drive amid an influx of spring-breakers and out-of-city visitors.
“As I’ve said many times, we don’t ask for spring break in our city. We don’t want spring break in our city. It’s too rowdy, brings too much disorder and it’s simply too difficult to police.”

The organization - Eisenhower Media Network (EMN) - has been reaching out to reporters to push claims that the U.S. is spending too much money trying to help Ukraine fight off Vladimir Putin’s invasion.
EMN is a project run by the People’s Power Initiative, a group that counts Cohen as its president and a major backer. The ice-cream mogul and long-time Bernie Sanders campaigner has given more than $1 million to the People’s Power Initiative via the Ben Cohen Charitable Trust, according to public records.
Approached about his role in backing the group, Cohen said: “I think the U.S. should use its power to negotiate an end to the war, not prolong the death and destruction by supplying more weapons.”
Did he or they spend any money telling Putin what a fuckin' scumbag he is for invading a non-threatening country, bombing it to the ground and killing tens of thousands of innocent people in the process? Of course they didn't.
These wanna-be modern-day hippy jerkoffs don't have a clue about the real world and how it really works.

So I guess all these streaming/alternative 'entertainment' outfits
will all just eventually get in line with each other and the pricing levels for all of them will average out to be about the same. At that point, what competitive advantage will one have over any of the others?

Did Mike Trout really say this?

    1. I admit that I don't watch network news, but did Trump actually call for protests? I watched the J6 committee lie about what Trump said, editing out his "go home in peace" type remarks. Is this just the same script being played by different actors?

  2. Ben & Jerry ... even a stopped clock is right once in a while. If you want to know how the real world works, realize that we are being sucked into the Ukraine mess by people who want to impose global authoritarian control over all of us. They started this war by using the CIA and State Department to overthrow the elected government of Ukraine in 2014, which then attacked the pro-Russian eastern Ukrainians, killing thousands. Their goal is to impoverish us all, destroy Europe, and sacrifice Ukraine in a bid to gain control of Russia's natural resources for pennies on the ruble. The Ukraine government are controlled by neo-Nazi's and are in no way worthy of American support. It's a shame we pushed Russia into having to react to our evil behavior that set Ukraine up to be manipulated. They are doing exactly what we would have done if China had overthrown the Mexican government and threatened to put nuclear missiles in Tijuana.

DeSantis is right that this is none of our business. We're being sucked into this mess by government Deep State neo-con warmongers who are playing into the hands of the WEF/Davos globohomo crowd, who intend to crash the financial world and force us all to "own nothing and be happy" while they starve us. We have no legitimate business in Ukraine other than to provide humanitarian aid to the civilian populations caught up in this fiasco.

    1. I completely agree that the Ukrainian shithole is the creation and fault of the west. No question about that. The question is what do we do about it now? If we sit back and just let the Russians have the Ukraine, China will take Taiwan and Russia may turn toward Poland. Russia going after Poland would trigger NATO and probably go nuclear since Russia could not win a conventional war against NATO.

It's funny how in the 60s Americans decided on near deterrent against the Soviets in place of conventional detterent. Now the worm as turned. Obama and Biden made one giant mess here.

    2. Russia has shown no indication they will go after Poland. They didn't even go after Georgia until the US/NATO had sent training troops there and our State Department made noises about interfering..

And Ukraine is draining us so badly that we will have nothing to oppose China from taking Taiwan. It's a sucker's bet. We are no longer capable of doing more than one thing at a time. China loves having us bogged down in Ukraine.
