There's an upside to climate change in California? Holy crap...

California's ski resorts say they will be open until the middle of summer due to the massive amounts of snow they've been deluged with this winter. Mammoth Mountain has announced that it will remain open for skiing until the end of July, marking the earliest the resort has made such an announcement. Ski lifts will continue to operate until the conditions allow, which could even extend to August.

California has recently been hit with powerful atmospheric river storms that have brought rain and snow after a years-long drought.

  1. I was up yesterday snowmobiling in about 10' of California "Global Warming". Going to be a great summer. I plan on snowmobiling on the 4th of July in the morning and water skiing in the afternoon.
