Start your Sunday morning off right...

 I gotta admit - All this time - 45 years later - I had
no idea at all that Bobby Caldwell was a white guy.

National Review - All signs are that, assuming Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg has conclusively decided to move forward with a criminal prosecution of Donald Trump in connection with the Stormy Daniels caper, an indictment is imminent. Prosecutors have taken the steps one would expect them to take at the conclusion of grand-jury proceedings. The case is also old, although whether it is so stale that it should be deemed time-barred is apt to be a hotly disputed question.
Naturally, there is no dispute as far as Trump is concerned. A few weeks back, he asserted in a post on his Truth Social platform that the “’Stormy’ nonsense is VERY OLD & happened a long time ago, long past the very publicly known & accepted deadline of the Statute of Limitations.”

We all know it's political bullshit on Braggs' part and he'll probably look like the idiot he is when all is said and done, but this really showcases how much the left hates and fears this guy that they'd go to this embarassing length to try and knock him down. They don't get that the man is Weeble - he may wobble but he don't fall down...

California hosts a third of the nation's homeless, half of its street sleepers and SIX of the top 10 of cities worst hit by tent encampments.
And what single thing do each and every one of these cities have in common? I'll give you one single guess.

More than 582,000 people are sleeping rough or in temporary accommodation in the United States.  Los Angeles, New York City and Seattle are by far America's worst hit cities. California is the epicenter of the crisis, with the nation's highest homeless rate.
Shabby tent encampments erected in city parks, along streets and beneath overpasses. Homeless people, many with mental health or drug problems, sprawled across sidewalks or subway seats. Needles and other paraphernalia often nearby. California is by far the worst hit. It has about a third of all the country's homeless people, and Los Angeles, San Jose, Oakland, and other Golden State cities have among the largest numbers of unsheltered people in the country.
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development says 582,462 people did not have a permanent home on the single night in January last year when researchers carried out their most recent snapshot survey. Some 60 percent of the destitute were in shelters, crashing with friends or relatives, or had other temporary digs. The rest were 'unsheltered' - sleeping in cars, on the streets or in derelict buildings.

A view of a homeless encampment on a street in West Oakland, California, last month, as local officials made moves to clear out the structures.

They (people in government) wonder why no one wants to believe anything they say and - don't get me wrong, homelessness is a big problem, of course - but here's why. They call it a 'snapshot survey I guess because it's not that concise or decisive, right? So how the fuck do you come up with such a specific - and weird number? They sure as fuck could never count every single person who's homeless.

During WWII, they did shit like meatless Tuesday and eggless Friday because of wartime rationing. The fascinating thing there, though, is the pricing. A hotdog for a nickel and a burger for 12 cents.
Where I usta live - on St. John in the Virgin Islands - the cheapest burger on the island is $ 18.00. I shit you not - eighteen bucks for a fuckin' burger.

Auto makers and dealerships in China are slashing prices after the lifting of pandemic controls failed to reverse slumping demand in the world’s largest car market. It appears the Chinese economy isn't quite as robust as they want us to think it is. And it's not just Ford & GM - it's every make and model - except for Tesla, who's only mimicked their pricing here in the US. Here's an interesting subtext to this as it relates to electric cars (EV's):
