Nude beaches are never like the ones in the movies or the magazines...

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (Fox5 Atlanta) - Some Florida beachgoers are describing their surprise encounters with nudists at a popular stretch of sand in Brevard County.
"There's big fat guys laying there like this," one lady said. "I don't want to see that kind of stuff!" "It was uncomfortable. She was covering her eyes," another said.
Sections of the Canaveral National Seashore were damaged by the 2022 hurricanes and some signs marking areas of "nude sunbathing" were washed away in the storms at Playalinda Beach. That had some families venturing onto stretches of beach they normally would not go.

Officials say there's no federal law addressing nudity on this beach since it's a national park. But according to the Brevard Sheriff's Office, parts of the beach are on state property where it's illegal to go nude.

  1. So a hundred years ago, my college GF lived on MV for a summer and we hit the nude beaches all the time. One day this helicopter lands behind the beach and this rich beautiful couple get out while the pilot babysits the bird. I'm watching her walk up the sand thinking, "c'mon baby, you can do it". And she does and it's ALERT, ALERT, roll over!! Sigh

  2. I've traveled a bit over the past 35 years. The French beaches tend to have very attractive people in various stages of raw but it is usually tasteful. Until the middle age German couple show up with the lady as ugly as a hatfull of spiders and husband is a beer keg on legs. Then it gets uncomfortable...
