Having been there, I agree. It's a magical place.

This is the Gweebarra Bridge in Lettermacaward,
County Donegal, Ireland...

The Gweebarra Bridge is about one mile from my brother TJ's cottage
in the hamlet of Classy, just outside the tiny town of Doochary. His cottage sits uphill from the river. It truly is a magical place for a bunch of reasons, not the least of which is the Gweebarra - a tidal river that raises up and lowers down twice a day.
The bridge itself is known locally as the 'Gateway to the Rosses'. It crosses the Gweebarra River and connects the townlands of Lettermacaward and Doochary. The bridge is situated on the N56 road, which is a major route in the area. The Gweebarra Bridge is a popular spot for anglers and is known for its scenic views of the surrounding countryside.

Not a single mention anywhere in the media
yesterday about this...

78 years ago, Marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima.

In this photo taken on Feb. 23, 1945, U.S. Marines of the 28th Regiment, 5th Division, raise a U.S. flag atop Mount Suribachi on the Japanese-controlled island of Iwo Jima. Strategically located 660 miles from Tokyo, the Pacific island became the site of one of the bloodiest, most famous battles of World War II against Japan.

 Spring training games start tomorrow.
 Thank fuckin' god.

In February 2021, publicly held debt was $35.3 trillion, with gross debt - which includes borrowed money that must be repaid to the Social Security and Medicare trust funds - hitting $40 trillion.
Two years later, in February 2023, those figures were $40.9 trillion and $46.7 trillion respectively.
That means President Biden added $5.6 trillion to the publicly held debt, and $6.7 trillion to the gross debt.
The national debt is now scheduled to hit $50 trillion just 10 years from now - that’s roughly five years ahead of earlier forecasts.

Ya gotta know - the list of shit I miss about living in Jersey is pretty short
and consists of mostly friends and food stuff - like this. This was my vegetable garden at the house in Wall Township. I'd usually grow around 30 or so tomato  plants (3 or 4 varietals), lettuce, eggplant and zucchini, garlic and onions and whatever else I could fit in. That garden was my daily mental therapy. There's a good reason Jersey is called the 'Garden State' - you're looking at it...

When pleasing the eye is at least as important as function,

If you don't think pictures like this are sexy,

I have no idea what these morons may have been protesting - or whatever the fuck they're doing in this crowd - but that sign is pretty spot on if you think about it...

  2. yes baseball is a good thing and always has been, curious as how these new rules will play out. 20.00 breakfasts are pretty much standard around my house these days, 4.00 for a 10 oz OJ really pisses me off. And finally the natural serious hotty eating the spaghetti is the stuff that dreams are made of. That's the kind of woman you wouldn't waste the time of getting her into the bedroom. That is some serious do me right here right now material, Okay a guy can dream can't he?
