And the accidents do happen - all the time...
Several people - kids and adults - were injured after a jumping castle was launched into the air by a massive wind gust on New Year's Eve, sending it tumbling for 300+ yards along the ground before it finally came to a stop.
At least five people were hurt at the Matua New Year's Eve community celebration incident in Tauranga, New Zealand, on Saturday, with two rushed to a nearby hospital. One person who fell from the castle 'landed heavily', according to a witness. 'They sort of curled up on the ground, not really moving.'
Makes ya kinda wonder why they wouldn't anchor them in to the ground somehow, doesn't it?
As Men Watch..
ReplyDeleteFWIW, the local company that rents most of them out is owned by a pediatric orthopedics medical group.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that's just a coincidence.
After you healed up and the lawyers were done you could have one heck of a story! Even video to back it up!!
ReplyDeleteTauranga is a nice waterfront city in the Bay of Plenty. Plenty sun, plenty rain, plenty wind. I lived there for three years in the 80's and my older brother has lived there since he left home.
