A buddy of mine and his wife were on this cruise ship bound for Florida that rescued 24 migrants from a boat in distress – on the same day another vacation vessel plucked 17 Cubans who had been adrift for weeks. The MSC Meraviglia, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, was returning from Cozumel, Mexico, to the Space Coast on Saturday when it came across the small boat.
“Our crew notified the United States Coast Guard and started a rescue operation immediately,” the Italian MSC Cruises said in a statement. “All 24 of the boat’s occupants were brought on board MSC Meraviglia, where they were checked by medical personnel and provided accommodations until the ship reaches Port Canaveral,” it said. “The 24 who were rescued disembarked once the ship docked on Sunday morning,” the statement added.
You really have to dig down into your heart a bit for these
poor bastards who are so desperate to get the fuck outta wherever they live that they'd risk a journey like this. It's almost impossible for me to grasp how fucked up it must be there for them, and I am truly sympathetic - to a point.
That doesn't mean they get to stay here on a free ride, though. Sympathy is one thing, flagrant violation of our laws is another thing. Just 'cause you were brave enough (or stupid enough) to pull this stunt doesn't entitle you to a magic ticket to Happyville.

President Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home after an FBI search on Friday. "On Jan. 20, 2023, the FBI executed a planned, consensual search of the President's residence in Wilmington, Delaware," Joseph D. Fitzpatrick, an assistant U.S. attorney to U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, told Fox News Saturday.
Lausch was the DOJ official running the investigation into Biden's improper retention of classified records ahead of the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Hur. Fox News has learned Lausch is still playing an integral role in the probe as Hur gets up to speed. The FBI search began Friday morning at 9:45 a.m. and concluded Friday night around 10:30 p.m.

Biden's personal attorney Bob Bauer said Saturday evening the search covered "all working, living and storage spaces in the home." Bauer said that by agreement with the Justice Department, representatives of both Biden's personal legal team and the White House Counsel’s Office were present for the search. Neither the president nor the first lady were present during the search.
"People know I take classified materials seriously."

churches are closing because they're going woke. the freaks they're trying to appease have no use for religion and those of us who want to hear the teachings of Christ are disgusted by what has become of our religion
