I wonder how much this Benz would be worth today...

In 1998, Mercedes-Benz tested twin joysticks as a method of driving, coming up with a fully-functional prototype that allowed the driver to accelerate, brake, steer, and operate the turn signals and horn from either or both side sticks.
On the outside, it's pretty normal looking, but I think if you had a little buzz on, you'd be almost guaranteed to fuck that up somehow. Take a look at the article on their website. It's pretty cool:
