Even Google isn’t immune to the severe downturn in the tech sector. Although more than 135,000 white-collar professionals in the tech and startup space have been downsized year to date, the giant search engine has avoided this trend.
However, due to pressure from an activist hedge fund, adverse market conditions and a need to cut costs, Google plans to ease out 10,000 employees through a type of stack ranking and performance improvement plan. If employees are rated as poor performers, they’ll be shown the door. Additionally, the new performance system could use the ratings to avoid paying bonuses and stock grants.
Google managers have been asked to rank 6% of employees—representing 10,000 people—as low performers, compared to the traditional 2%.

Residents in western New York are digging out after a massive winter storm passed though the region, dropping more than 6 feet of snow in some areas. The city of Buffalo set a record for daily snowfall, with 16.1 inches by Saturday morning. The previous record was 7.6 inches.
The area's last major snowfall took place eight years ago, when another lake-effect storm dropped more than five feet of snow.

How friggin' stupid are these people?
Fentanyl and other synthetic opioids are the most common drugs involved in overdose deaths. Even in small doses, it can be deadly. Over 150 people die every day from overdoses related to synthetic opioids like fentanyl. Even street drugs may contain deadly levels of fentanyl, and you wouldn’t be able to see it, taste it, or smell it. It is nearly impossible to tell if drugs have been laced with fentanyl unless you test your drugs with fentanyl test strips. So what the fuck are these people using? Jeez- just go down to the corner of Main and Central with $ 20 bucks. Problem solved ferfucksake.

Regarding those failed "lethal injections" - rope is cheap , and rarely fails .
