Businessfinancing.co.uk - a business finance and lending research and information website publisher - calculated the favorite and least favorite billionaires in every country and every US state. Their methodology was put together by collecting geotagged tweets mentioning various billionaires and sorted by location. They then used an AI 'sentiment detector' to determine if each mention was positive or negative. Perhaps surprisingly, British business magnate Richard Branson was considered the most beloved billionaire in the United States, though he is not the most popular in a majority of states.
