This can't possibly be a surprise to anyone who knows Joe...

Poor ole' Joe is once again being viewed as a serious drag on his party’s midterm prospects, after a late summer bump had some thinking he would be less of an anchor around Democratic lawmakers seeking reelection. With three weeks to go until Election Day, Democrats say they are worried that Biden’s shaky approval ratings will end up 'hurting their chances in the House and Senate races'.
As inflation soars and fear of a recession continues to mount, Democrats say the president will end up being “the fall guy,” as one source put it, even if some in the party don’t think the criticism is entirely fair.
“It’s all about the economy, and at the end of the day, everything is more expensive than it was a year ago, retirement accounts are plummeting, and gas prices are lower but they’re inching up again,” one Democrat strategist finally acknowledged. “And President Biden is in charge, so of course people are going to point to him, unfairly or not.”

You know how every once in a while you run across a story so crazy you can't believe it's true? Try this one on for size...

A jury recently convicted a Michigan man of aggravated indecent exposure for using a Tickle Me Elmo doll to masturbate while he was inspecting a residence on behalf of a potential purchaser.
Kevin VanLuven, 60, was found guilty of the misdemeanor following a one-day trial in Oakland County Circuit Court. The jury acquitted VanLuven of malicious destruction of property, also a misdemeanor. Judge Phyllis McMillen scheduled VanLuven’s sentencing for December 2. The indecent exposure count carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a $2000 fine.
VanLuven, who works as a home inspector, was arrested last year after the owners of a suburban Detroit home contacted cops to report that a nanny cam recorded VanLuven pleasuring himself inside the residence.
VanLuven was inspecting the Oxford Township home on behalf of a potential purchaser. The home’s owners had let VanLuven, another inspector, the buyers, and a real estate agent into the property. When the inspection began, the owners and their two small boys left the three-bedroom house. After two hours had passed, homeowner Jaida Dodson remotely accessed her home security cameras to check on the progress of the inspection.
Dodson testified that she saw VanLuven remove a Tickle Me Elmo doll that had been among stuffed animals stored in a small teepee tent in the bedroom of Dodson’s two-year-old son. VanLuven then allegedly “unzipped his pants and began masturbating in our son’s closet with his Tickle Me Elmo.”

A measure looking to strictly limit the concealed carry of
firearms in New Jersey, fast-tracked by Democratic leaders,
was advanced by a state Assembly committee on Monday,
bringing it one step closer to becoming law.
New Jersey has long had among the most restrictive gun control laws in the nation. But a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling over New York’s concealed carry law has brought the status quo in both states into question, and lawmakers there are scrambling to come up with new legislation that complies with the high court’s ruling.

  1. back when I was still working, I used to collect old ear phones for the plugs. used to work at the VA and they always had the damn view on. slide up to the tv set and slip in a ear plug- instant quiet.
it was fun to watch the girls at the desk try to get the sound back on. and like clockwork, the set would be replaced
inside of a week. but it was fun while it lasted. and I didn't have to listen to that shit !

Beg to differ. NY and NJ are currently playing "That's not infringement; THIS is infringement" while simultaneously flipping the bird to SCOTUS over NYSRPC v Bruen.
