Yesterday, Biden falsely claimed that U.S. gas prices were “over $5” per gallon when he took office in January 2021. While speaking in Syracuse, New York, Biden said, “Today, the most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office.”
According to The Associated Press, Biden was speaking in Syracuse to “showcase a significant investment by the U.S.-based company Micron, one of the largest microchip manufacturers in the world.”
Townhall.com tweeted a video of the moment in question. Biden provided two inaccurate figures in the same breath, one about the gas prices when he took office and another regarding costs during the week he spoke in Syracuse.

Airbnb is giving $100,000 each to 100 aspiring builders, architects and designers from 23 countries to bring their most unconventional vacation home ideas to life.
According to Airbnb, 777 of the ideas involved fruit, 680 were inspired by wine, 509 were reminiscent of mushrooms, 961 incorporated music and 1,214 involved treehouses. Participants were also motivated to make their designs as sustainable as possible: 7,931 submissions included solar panels.
One of the judges is Kristie Wolfe, who made headlines around the world in 2019 when she spent $32,000 to create her “Big Idaho Potato Hotel” vacation rental outside of Boise, Idaho.

When you initiated the change, I found that your jumping right column was very hard on my eyes, so I left your site well before I'd finished reading it; unfortunate because I enjoy the site.. Now I just check in and if the right column starts jumping, I just leave immediately. Shortly I won't even bother checking in. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but if your readership levels are down, this could be the reason.

DeleteWhen I was a kid we used to go up and down the beaches and get all the matchbooks nobody took when they bought a pack of cigarettes from all the machines that were outside of every business and motel....every pack would automatically dispense a book of matches...we would then cut the heads off the matches and stuff them into a depleted CO2 cartridge, insert into a pipe, and ignite, sending the "rocket" in whatever direction we were pointed at the time....we were basically creating a solid fuel rocket....thank God nobody was ever hurt....one time we launched it right down the middle of the road....if a car would have been coming who knows what would have happened....I guess we were 10 or 11 at the time....
