The guard missed the first lesson of standing at attention - Never Lock Your Legs - it cuts off circulation and you face plant. Saw it more than once during parades at the USNA.
ReplyDeleteSomebody's CSM isn't going to be pleased. The soldiers hand-picked to mount the vigil have to go through a process similar to the American Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Guard--it's considered one of the highest honors as a soldier.
