Look around you. Is everybody fat? Depends on which State you're in...

Nineteen US states now have obesity rates above 35 per cent - considered an alarming threshold by officials - which is double the number in 2018. The figures, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), prompted experts to describe the situation as an 'urgent epidemic'. Just one of the US' 54 states and territories - Washington D.C. - has an obesity rate of lower than 25 per cent now, compared to three in 2018. CDC acting principal deputy director Debra Houry said the new data 'illustrates the urgent need for making obesity prevention and treatment accessible to all Americans in every state and every community'.

  1. That's for 'obese' people, those with a BMI of 30 or more. A healthy BMI is under 35. Add in the overweight category featuring those with a BMI of 25-30 and the unhealthy crowd ballons to about 50% of the population. In many regions more. Ask ANYONE who works in an ER. They'll tell you that the majority of patients we see have a weight issue.

  2. And another problem solved by Biden. by making food unafforable people are going to need that extra body fat to live. Pity those skinny people who didn't manage to stock up whilst food was cheap.
