What is it about Democrats that makes them think taking money from you and giving it to someone you don't know is somehow okay...
Case in point? The State of New Jersey will now give you up to $ 4,000.00 of someone's else' money so you can buy an electric car. Helluva deal, huh?
New Jersey will spend millions of dollars to get people to ditch gas stations and purchase all-electric vehicles to fight climate change, Gov. Phil Murphy announced Monday.
It includes a payment of up to $4,000 to reduce the price of an electric vehicle and $250 to help pay for a charging station at their homes, Murphy said. Another $4 million will go towards giving incentives for apartment buildings and condominiums to install charging stations for their residents to use.
The roughly $60 million that will be used to fund the incentive program will come from this year’s Clean Energy Fund, Murphy said.
“There is no doubt that the tide has turned and electric vehicles are now a legitimate alternative, equal to their internal-combustion competitors in price if not superior in performance,” the Millionaire Democratic governor said.
The state is willing to chip in up to $4,000 for vehicles under $45,000 and, and up to $2,000 for vehicles priced between $45,000 and $50,000, Murphy’s office said.

The flashy self-proclaimed Brooklyn 'bishop' known for flaunting his Gucci suits, diamond-encrusted chains and stable of luxury vehicles says it’s not his fault he was targeted in a $1 million jewelry heist.
Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead – who’s cozy with Mayor Adams and previously did five years in prison for identity fraud and grand larceny – insisted on Instagram that his public displays of wealth didn’t lead to Sunday’s gunpoint robbery during his live-streamed service in Canarsie.
“It’s not about me being flashy,” said the Rolls Royce-driving clergyman, 44, in a video shortly after three thieves robbed him and his wife in the middle of his sermon at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries.
“It’s about me purchasing what I want to purchase. It’s my prerogative to purchase what I want to purchase.” The bishop said he can’t be blamed for standing out in the community, given his status, as critics suggested his “blinged-out’’ look could have made him an outsized target.
“Sometimes when you’re a known bishop, it’s a gift and a curse,” Miller-Whitehead said. “You become the talk of the town.”
At the time of the robbery, Miller-Whitehead and his wife were wearing more than $1 million in jewels and gold.

A reduced sex drive, hallucinations and hair loss are among a wider set of long Covid symptoms, according to a study of people who were infected but not hospitalised during the pandemic.
The most common symptoms in the weeks and months after a bout of coronavirus have long been known to include loss of smell and shortness of breath. The NHS list of common Covid symptoms also includes signs such as fatigue, rashes and brain fog.
Now researchers have been able to show that people with long Covid often experience an “extremely broad” variety of symptoms, including less well-known side effects such as amnesia, and an inability to perform familiar movements or commands.
As well as spotting a wider set of symptoms, researchers also identified key groups and behaviour that put people at increased risk of developing long Covid. They suggested that women, younger people and those from a black, mixed or other ethnic group were at greater risk of long Covid.
People from poorer backgrounds, smokers and people who were overweight or obese were also linked with reporting persistent symptoms.

Convicted sex trafficker and all-around bad girl Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to the sprawling low security Tallahassee Federal Correctional Institution in Florida, according to the Federal Board of Prisons database.
The facility, which features a tony brick entrance with white pillars and a lush green sports field, is where other famous criminals like Russian spy Maria Butina and “Jihad Jane” Colleen LaRose served their sentences. The transfer was first reported by the Daily Mail after the Federal Board of Prisons published the information.
The former procuress of underage girls for the billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein will be allowed to learn a trade like horticulture, cosmetology, or baking; participate in the prison talent show; and teach yoga as she has done during her current incarceration, based on the list of amenities offered on the prison website and several prison review listings. It is unclear if she will be able to continue studying Russian.
Maxwell, now 61, is serving a 20-year sentence for trafficking underage girls for Epstein, her one-time lover. She will surely be happier than she has been at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn against which she filed more than 100 complaints, including excessive “humiliating” body-cavity searches and invasive shower surveillance.
