I worked my way through college in the 70s as when I graduated in 75 as my parents showed me the door. I do not expect anyone paying taxes to pay for someone going to college. My sons decided on Trade School when they graduated and it was less then half a year of college and they make around 6 figures a year, own houses, own cars, and have nice bank accounts.
