Here come the 'Court-packing' discussions all over again...

Donald Trump did a lot of great things as President, but perhaps his greatest achievement (by the way, the 'I before E except after C' rule obviously doesn't apply here) was in getting more conservative Justices on to the bench than any other President in modern history.
The unbalancing of the court is going to give us many more rights and freedoms going forward, an it's going to give Libs like Joe fits. The call to arms over packing SCOTUS with liberal Justices will only get louder and more strident when the rest of this month's rulings come down, especially if they rule on Roe v. Wade the way we think they should - returning the rights of states to administer to whom, when and how abortions are allowed under the law.
Biden said he was 'deeply disappointed' in the ruling, saying in a statement that it 'contradicts both common sense and the Constitution, and should deeply trouble us all.' The 6-3 ruling on Thursday reversed a lower court's opinion, which had upheld the 108-year-old New York law restricting licenses to carry concealed weapons in public to those demonstrating 'proper cause'.

Justice Clarence Thomas delivered the majority opinion, writing that the New York law prevents law-abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights. New York is not alone in severely limiting who can get a license to carry concealed in public, and the new ruling will likely make it easier to legally carry a gun in major cities including Los Angeles, Boston and Baltimore. The court decision comes as the Senate was poised today or tomorrow for a vote to advance a 'bipartisan' gun-control bill, in what could be the first new federal gun legislation in decades.
