Let's all go to Harvard - that place sure looks like a fun place...

Sure it's fun. As long as you're not normal.
They got some fuckin' agenda at that place...
Or as I like to say - 'If it ain't woke, don't fix it...'

Devin Buckley, a feminist and philosopher slated to speak at Harvard University, was blocked by a staffer in the school's English department who, upon inviting her, learned she is against biological men competing against women in sports.
A member of Harvard's English department, Erin Saladin, learned after inviting Buckley to speak on English romanticism that she is a member of a feminist organization known as the Women's Liberation Front (WoLF), which opposes the notion that women athletes should compete against biological men.
In an email obtained by the National Review, Saladin writes: "On a more difficult note (especially for a Friday evening), I just looked up Devin Buckley so I could list the right title/affiliation on the application, and I noticed that she's on the board of a trans-exclusionary radical feminist organization. I also found at least one piece of her writing online that explicitly denies the possibility of trans identity. I can't ask for funding to invite a speaker who takes the public stance that trans people are dangerous or deceptive.

"I think hosting her would signal the colloquium as a
hostile place for community members who are trans."

"I also doubt that Deidre and Jim will want to sign onto the application asking for funding for her visit — it could look pretty bad for them and the department," she adds.
Buckley, however, denied that her writings had anything negative to say about transgenderism as she criticized "woke" Harvard.
"I have never written anything hateful towards any transgender individual," Buckley said. "She didn't quote me once. She only made a number of spurious accusations. My articles basically claim that a human male cannot become female and saying you're a woman doesn't mean you are. I simply say women deserve fair play on sports teams, they deserve to not have men in their private spaces, to not have violent men in their prisons."

It is an amazing true and frighteningly true fact that anyone who's on MSDNC can say whatever the fuck they want and no one is ever called on it. These people are the most racist, closed-minded and ignorant motherfuckers out there, and they somehow get away with it. Take this idiot piece of shit.
MSNBC host Joy Reid said Tuesday on her show “The ReidOut” that Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter is about bringing back a system like apartheid in 1980’s South Africa.
Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971 and lived there until he moved to Canada at the age of 17.
Reid said, “It was distressing to a lot of people, not least of which the people who work at Twitter. Who, you know, in their internal Slacks are really — a lot of them are wringing their hands, probably not all of them, but a lot of them, and just worried about what becomes of their company."

"Elon Musk’s companies have a history of open racism. You know, there’s been this lawsuit against Tesla, and he himself is a troll. So his idea of freedom means freedom to be a jerk and to be cruel and to have no one be able to stop you.”
She added, “They don’t want to just be in the club. They are on the outside of the culture looking in through the glass, but they don’t just want to come in. They want to come in and be able to punch people in the face and walk around and laugh about it and to not have anyone be able to stop them. The thing is, the enjoyment they get out of being in this ‘town square’ is being able to harass people being able to attack people. There was a time when people had the double hashtags around their names because they were Jewish, and right-wingers were saying get in the oven any time you made any benign comment on Twitter. They attacked women.
The misogyny was crazy on Twitter for a while. Elon Musk, I guess he misses the old South Africa in the ’80s. He wants that back.”

Tesla stockholders were jumping out of the windows yesterday. Can you imagine that company is valued at over One Trillion Dollars...

Investors have wiped $126bn (£100bn) off Tesla’s value amid concern that Elon Musk may have to sell shares in the electric carmaker to fund his personal contribution to his $44bn acquisition of Twitter.

Tesla stock has been targeted despite the company not being involved in the bid but Musk, its chief executive and largest shareholder, is part-funding the Twitter deal with $21bn of his own equity and a further $12.5bn loan secured against his Tesla stake.
The 12.2% drop in Tesla’s shares on Tuesday equated to a $21bn drop in the value of his Tesla stake, equal to the cash stake he committed to the Twitter deal.

The share fall also took place against a backdrop of difficult trading for tech stocks. The Nasdaq closed at its lowest level since December 2020 on Tuesday, as investors worried about slowing global growth and more aggressive rate increases from the US Federal Reserve.

Harvard University is vowing to spend $100 million to study and atone for its extensive ties with slavery, the school’s president announced Tuesday, with plans to identify and support the descendants of enslaved people who labored at the Ivy League campus.

President Lawrence Bacow announced the funding as Harvard released a new report detailing the many ways the college benefited from slavery and perpetuated racial inequality. But the report stops short of recommending direct financial reparations, and officials have no immediate plans for that kind of support.
Harvard, the nation’s oldest and wealthiest college, is the latest among a growing number of U.S. schools attempting to confront their involvement with slavery and also make amends for it.
