I had one of those water rockets, too, but even more fun was taking an empty co2 cartridge, cutting off match heads from match books harvested from the hundreds of cigarette machines up and down the beach, stuffing the match heads into the co2 cartridge,sticking it in a pipe, and lighting a makeshift fuse, sending that baby right down the middle of the street....it's a wonder nobody got hurt, or at the least broke a windshield....we didn't realize it but we were making solid fuel rockets....
