Just when you kinda thought it was safe to go out, there's this...

Ya know - ya get up in the morning hoping to see the least little bit of sunshine and good news, but no - now we got this...

US poultry producers are tightening safety measures for their flocks as disease experts warn that wild birds are likely spreading a highly lethal form of avian flu across the country.
Indiana on Wednesday reported highly pathogenic bird flu on a commercial turkey farm, leading China, South Korea and Mexico to ban poultry imports from the state. The outbreak put the US industry on edge at a time that labor shortages are fueling food inflation.
The disease is already widespread in Europe and affecting Africa, Asia and Canada, but the outbreak in Indiana, which is on a migratory bird pathway, particularly rattled U.S. producers. A devastating US bird-flu outbreak in 2015 killed nearly 50 million birds, mostly turkeys and egg-laying chickens in the Midwest.

Trudeau can kiss his political ass goodbye the minute the
first trucker is taken away in cuffs - or worse...

In his most strongly worded statement since the anti-vaccine mandate protests began nearly two weeks ago, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Friday that police and all levels of government are preparing to take action against the demonstrators behind the blockades in Ottawa, Windsor and elsewhere.
Trudeau said the protesters must stand down or face severe "consequences" for any illegal activities - consequences that include the possibility of criminal charges and steep financial penalties. He said the federal government will no longer tolerate activists who "take the economy hostage" and bring life to a standstill in the nation's capital.
Trudeau said authorities are prepared to hit protesters where it hurts the most by suspending commercial trucking licenses and pursuing charges that could result in jail time.
He also warned that criminal sanctions could be leveled that would stop the protesters from ever travelling internationally again.
Idle threats - every one of them. What's he gonna do - shut down the supply chain of his own country? That'd start a shit show that would end with him at the end of a plank...

If the phrase 'Fight fire with fire' has no meaning to Conservatives in this country, Democrats will continue to do the shit they've been doing for 20 years.
It's time for Republicans to grow a fuckin' pair and start kicking their asses at their own game. get in the mud. Play dirty. Use character assassination as a political tool. Take the fuckin' gloves off and start kickin' 'em in their asses. Enuff already.

Someone commented a while back that the 'President of the United States has no power over the price of oil'.
If that's true, how did this happen in only one year since Trump's been out of office? Russia is now a big exporter of crude oil to the United States.
Analysts are turning increasingly bullish on oil,
with some predicting prices to hit $120.
The predictions come as fear of a potential invasion
of Ukraine by Russia continues to mount.

British tabloids are a pisser. We should have more media platforms like their's here in the States. It'd make getting the morning paper delivered a lot more worthwhile. Here's a link to this story:

On last night’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher
said that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sounded “like Hitler” when he made comments about leaders facing a choice on whether or not to “tolerate” people who aren’t vaccinated and also negatively cited Trudeau saying that the trucker protesters in the country had “unacceptable” points of view.

  1. So, it is OK for the government to "take the economy hostage" and bring life to a standstill" but it is not OK for citizens to fight back to open the economy and get life moving again?

  2. "Someone commented a while back that the 'President of the United States has no power over the price of oil'."

This statement is only operable when there is a Democrat in the White House.
