An incredible sight. I'm glad I didn't see it...

  1. The third photograph shows the effects of an ASROC rocket fitted with a nuclear depth charge fired 4,000 yards from the destroyer Agerholm. Way too close for me!

  2. Whoever did the colorization should be shot. Colorizing b&w photos is heathenous. It's a modern equivalent of a coloring book.

  3. I disagree. I think sometimes - as is the case here - it gives an updated view of a specific scene. I like 'em - I even do some myself. Notice my Good Morning pics...
